Hi Guys,

Welcome to Sunday school.

Today we are diving into the book of Luke, chapter 1, verse 26 to 38.

So, let's read verse 38.

_______, Could you read the verse?

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.”

A long time ago, in the small town of Nazareth in Galilee, there lived a girl named Mary.

Mary was a good girl who obediently believed in God's words.

One day an angel came to Mary.

The angel told Mary that God had a very special plan for her.

She was going to have a baby, and not just any baby – this baby would be the Son of God! God had chosen Mary to be the mother of Jesus, the Savior of the world.

Now, think about it. How would you feel if an angel told you such incredible news? Mary was confused at first,

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God."

What decision do you think Mary made?

Did Mary decide to obey God's will and have the baby?

Or did she say "No!" and refuse?

Mary decided to trust God and follow Him.

she humbly said, "I am the Lord's servant. May your word to me be fulfilled." Wow! That's a big response from a young girl, isn't it? Mary trusted God's plan, even though it was surprising and probably a bit scary.

Guys, the story of Mary teaches us about trusting God's plan, even when it seems surprising or a little scary. Sometimes God has big and wonderful plans for us, just like He did for Mary. When we trust Him and say "yes" to His plans, amazing things can happen in our lives.

Because Jesus came to this earth, we can be forgiven of our sins and become children of God. We can become citizens of heaven. We are set free from the sins that used to bother us.

So, what can we learn from Mary's big surprise? We can learn that God has special plans for each one of you. Just like Mary, God has chosen you for something unique and important. It might not involve angels and miracles, but God's plans for you are just as special.

Let's thank God for the story of Mary and for the special plans He has for each of us.

Let's pray.

Dear God, thank You for showing us that Your plans are always good and filled with love. Help us to trust You, just like Mary did. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
